Most Wonderful Time - Quick & Simple x 3!

Hello, I'm back today sharing some quick and simple projects made using the Most Wonderful Time Product Medey,

As I mentioned in my earlier post, I resisted buying this product medley for a long time.

That is until I saw a project designed by Amy Koenders who is demonstrator based in the USA.  You can see Amy's project HERE.

All three projects are very quick and simple to make and are great for batch making.

Here is my version of Amy's card with a couple of tweaks.

Craftyduckydoodah, Most Wonderful Time, Stampin' Up, Christmas 2020

To create this card you will need:

21 cm x 104.5 cm ww thick - scored at 10.5 cm

10 cm x 14 cm ww thick

Background:

Using Old Olive ink stamp the trees using 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation ink.  Stamp a sentiment using Memento ink.

To assemble:

Add the ww panel to the card front with dimensionals.  I used one of the deer stickers from the product medley.  Adhere to the card with dimensionals.  I used the Smoky Slate (light) Stampin' Blend to 'ground' the deer.

Top Tip:

I used my embossing buddy to remove the sticky from the back of the sticker!

I added some glitter to the trees and also one of the faceted stars for a bit more sparkle.

Here is my second project:

Craftyduckydoodah, Most Wonderful Time, Stampin' Up, Christmas 2020

To create this card you will need:

21 cm x 14.5 cm ww thick - scored at 10.5 cm

10 cm x 14 cm piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP)

ww thick for stamping and die cutting

Stamping and die cutting:

I used one of the Stitched So Sweetly dies to cut a panel from ww thick card.  I stamped the presents with Real Red ink and added the detail with Old Olive ink onto a piece of ww thick card.  Cut out with the coordinating dies. I heat embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder.

To assemble the card:

Adhere the DSP to the card front with Tombow. Adhere the die cut panel with dimensionals and then add the presents, again using dimensionals.  I added some fine glitter to the ribbons on the presents.

Here is my final project:

Craftyduckydoodah, Most Wonderful Time, Stampin' Up, Christmas 2020,

To create this card you will need:

21 cm x 14.5 cm ww thick - scored at 10.5 cm

10 cm x 14 cm ww thick

10 cm x 5 cm DSP

10 cm x 1 cm Real Red

To assemble the card:

Adhere the DSP and the Real Red strip of card to the front of the ww panel using Tombow.  Stamp the sentiment with Memento ink and adhere the panel to the card front with dimensionals.  Wrap tinsel around two of the tree stickers (fiddly but worth it), and adhere with dimensionals.  Add a gold star to the top of each tree.

I will be making more cards with the lovely items in this product medley as usual, so many ideas, so little time!

Craftyduckydoodah, Most Wonderful Time, Stampin' Up, Christmas 2020,

Of the three cards my favourite is the one with the deer on, I will definitely be making more of these but I think I will scuff the edges of the ww panel.  Note to self - order a refill kit!

My blog posts have been a bit thin on the ground last week; building work is not going well or to plan.  On Saturday we woke to the sound of running water in the early hours of the morning.  Thankfully we were able to get that fixed fairly quickly.  Then we had a gas leak in the late afternoon and then it started to rain heavily.  We spent the evening moving and emptying buckets, not how I thought I would be spending Saturday evening!

Have a crafty week.
