Craftyduckydoodah! March Updates
Hello and welcome to March. Spring is definitely in the air; lots of snowdrops and daffodils blooming all around and, not forgetting of course, the appearance of that round yellow thing in the sky!!
New Ink Pads Coming Soon!
Beginning in May 2026, we’ll introduce new felt ink pads in a magnetic, stackable case design. Plus, a sneaky peak of the upcoming In-Colours!!
- In 2026, only our new In Colors will be offered in the new magnetic felt pads.
- In 2027, all ink colours will transition to the new magnetic felt pad as part of a planned colour revamp, and the current pad style will be phased out. (For additional details, see the Q&A.)
Importantly, existing ink pads will remain usable throughout this transition—there is no immediate need to replace what you already own. Please be aware, however, that once the transition takes place, the old ink pad design will only be available while supplies last.
In-Colour Retiring Colours Reminder
Every year Stampin' Up! retire a set of five In-Colours to make way for the introduction of five brand new In-Colours. I have loved using all the colours but especially love Petunia Pop. I was not too keen on Shy Shamrock to be honest though!
These lovely colours will be disappearing shortly so, make sure you have re-inkers for your ink pads and be sure to stock up on your favourite colours (cardstock, pens, embellishments etc). Every year, without fail someone asks me for a retired item they need - don't let it be you this year!
New Online Exclusive Products
March sees the launch of the latest Online Exclusive Products. So many new and exciting items to choose from.
I have been playing with some of them, one of my favourites is the Simply Beautiful Suite.
I revisited an old but gold technique using the beautiful flowers in the stamp set' heat embossing on vellum and colouring from behind with the Stampin' Blends - the stained glass window technique. Projects featuring this technique will be making an appearance at a Coffee & Cards session later this month.
You can see all the new products HERE.

Coffee & Cards
My favourite project for February was from last week when we used the Gears & Textures bundle to create projects inspired by my lovely Upline Liz Shannon. Originally I was creating projects to frame for my living room but adapted them to create cards. The crafty ladies had a lot of fun stamping, die cutting and inking lots of little elements to create a fun layered look.
Sessions take place every Tuesday, 10.30 - 12.30pm in Godmanchester. Classes are suitable for all level of crafters from absolute beginners to more advanced crafters. Keep an eye on my facebook page for further details.
If there is a project you particularly want to create and you are unable to attend the regular morning session, drop me a message as I may be able to offer either an afternoon or evening session for you.
Workshops
Our workshop projects for February featured a firm favourite bundle of mine - Lovely Arrangements which I have used a lot! It has featured at not one but two C & C sessions too!
One of our projects was a Pop Out Diamond card that proved to be very popular and featured on my Share It Sunday posts of face book being recreated by several workshop attendees.
March Workshops will be using a brand new bundle called Help Me Grow that is one of the new Online Exclusive Products available from today! We will be creating three projects - two of them are fancy folds.
When: Tuesday 31st March 10:30 - 1pm
or
When: Tuesday 31st March 7 - 9:30pm (this is a repeat of the morning class)
Cost: £30 and includes all pre prepped materials, use of equipment and light refreshments.
Changes to Stampin' Up! Catalogues
![]() Stampin' Up! has announced some exciting changes to our catalogues. Instead of an Annual Catalogue and multiple mini catalogues, there will be three catalogues per year: January – April, May – August, and September – December. Each of these seasonal catalogues will introduce new products, but will also include core products such as basic tools and adhesives, colour products, essential punches and dies, basic embellishments, and envelopes. Without having to juggle overlapping catalogues, it'll be much easier to shop! Online Exclusive product releases will continue every other month. |
I will be able to look at an online copy of the upcoming new catalogue available from May towards the end of March. I will be compiling a list of items to pre order including the new ink pads featuring the brand new In-Colours - lucky me!
Finally, a reminder that you can find updated details/sneaky peaks of projects for of all classes and workshops on my Craftyducky facebook page HERE.
Wishing you a very crafty March!
Susan xx
