Craftyduckydoodah! July Updates

Hello and welcome to July.  Wasn't June hot?  It was so hot that I had to put my adhesives in the fridge! I was very pleased when the temperature dropped so I could get back to crafting.  I have been toying with the tricky question of what colour should a penguin's beak and feet be - yellow or orange?  Its a tricky question - if you know please let me know!

There is so much happening in the world of Stampin' Up! right now so, here are all the details you need in one place.

New Joining Process

The current join process (circa 2012) has served us well - in fact, more than 16,000 new demonstrators joined in October 2025 alone!  But, even a successful system can be improved.  Beginning 1 July 2026,As part of the new join process, we’re introducing an elevated onboarding experience. All first-time demonstrators will receive a surprise Welcome Box

You can have a look via the link below to see what is in the Welcome Box.

I will do a separate post shortly with full details of how you can join.

July Product Of The Month (POTM)

Craft lovely cards and tags adorned with graceful flowers using the Begonia Belle Stamp Set. The two begonia images can be stamped together to build a flower with depth or used on their own to create different perspectives. A bud stamp is sized to rest loosely over the stem image for another option, and leafy accents help complete the flower. Finish your project with one of the sweet sentiments, perfect for sending a warm thank-you or a heartfelt wish.

This is a Two-Step Stampin’ set; it allows you to layer two or more images to create one final image with extra texture and dimension in the colours you want.

The Begonia Belle Stamp Set is the exclusive Product of the Month for July 2026! Only available until stocks run out, don’t wait to get yours!

If you love exclusive products you will love the POTM all for the bargain price of just £5 when you place a qualifying order of £70 or more.  (Available whilst supplies last).

Coffee & Cards

During June we used lots of new products for our projects.  I had a special request from two of the regular crafty ladies for a card for a special birthday.  I saw a project on facebook designed by Michel Jutrisa from Australia.  A few tweaks and changes and this is what I came up with.

A card as special as this needs a box doesn't it?  So we made one of those too!

We will be using lots of exciting new products during July and, there will be my annual Christmas in July class too!

Sessions take place every Tuesday, 10.30 - 12.30pm in Godmanchester and cost just £18 - all materials, tuition, equipment and light refreshments are included.  If you have a paper trimmer and basic tools (scissors, bone folder etc) please bring with you along with your preferred adhesives.  A limited supply of adhesives are available to purchase if you forget or run out.  Classes are suitable for all level of crafters from absolute beginners to more advanced crafters.  Keep an eye on my facebook page for further details.

For our June workshop we used the Springtime Scenes bundle for our projects.  Three pretty projects; one of them had a spinning element too!

For our July workshops we will be using a new suite called Valley In Bloom.

Keep an eye on my Craftyducky facebook page for some sneaky peaks of the projects (one project is a pretty fabulous fancy fold)!
