Stampin' Up! No Bones About It - stepped up!

Hello, as promised here is the second card we made at Coffee & Cards this week.  We used a rather clever technique to stamp onto acetate to create a sort of x-ray effect!

Stazon ink is the only type of ink that will dry on acetate but you need to be very careful (and quick) with cleaning your stamp after use.  SU make a specific stamp cleaner that also conditions your stamps and helps to prevent staining - I would strongly recommend you have some close by when using this ink.

I had a lovely group of ladies crafting with me on Thursday - although there was some trepidation about stamping onto Window Sheet everyone managed it perfectly!

Here is the finished card and envelope - spot the Stitched Shape Framelits (again)!

This card proved to be very popular - all my crafty ladies could see what a versatile stamp set this is - I am sure these friendly dinosaurs will be making another appearance!

I handed out copies of the next Seasonal Catalogue along with a Sale-A-Bration Brochure - there were lots of oohs' and ahhs, especially over the chicken stamps which I think are going to be very popular!
