Craftyduckydoodah Review of 2020 - part 3

Hello and welcome to part three of my review of 2020. Not sure what is happening this year but I have still not had a single turkey sandwich!

July
In normal times I have been holding one Christmas in July Coffee & Cards session for the last few years now.  Although I couldn't meet up with my crafty ladies, this year was no exception - in fact, I created three Christmas projects this month!

This project was a particular favourite of mine using a stamp set that launched last year called Christmas Gleaming.

I also made good use of the Snowflake Wishes bundle creating this quick and simple card below and also a gift card holder.  You can find further details HERE and HERE.  I was very pleased to learn  that Snowflake Wishes will be with us next year too!  As ever, so many ideas; so little time!

July was also the start of our ducklings team challenges and we started with a colour challenge. Lots of fabulous entries made it difficult to choose a winner but eventually I chose this lovely card made by Maggie.  You can see the other entries HERE - all of them were fabulous!

August

The right time of the year to be creating projects with sunflowers using a stamp set called Jar of Flowers.  I love this simple project with lots of my favourite white space.

Stampin' Up launched the second Paper Pumpkin kit for the UK market this month too - the Lots of Sunshine kit.  I held two Paper Pumpkin Parties online that were a lot of fun.

I spent a lovely couple of hours with some of my favourite crafty ladies chatting and crafting - not quite the same as crafting in person but almost.

I decided the the card bases were too much for my tastes so I chopped them all up!

September
Christmas crafting started in earnest this month, lots of creations using snowflakes and Poinsettia's!

Autumn is my favourite time of the year and anything that features leaves calls out to me.  The card below was a particular favourite of mine that was created for a Stampers Showcase blog hop.  I love the colours, the simple imagery and, it was fun to get inky adding colour to each leaf!

September also saw me indulging in a spot of water colouring for my first Ink Stamp Share blog hop.  The theme of the hop was a colour challenge and I spent a lovely afternoon water coluring this image.  You can see the complete Seaside View project HERE.

Well, that's it for Part 3 - I really enjoy looking back on the year, seeing what I have been up to etc.  It's so easy to forget these days what day of the week it is!

I am offering a little giveaway over on my facebook page; leave a comment either here or on facebook, with a photo if possible of your favourite project from 2020 and I will choose a winner at random in 2021 to win a little treat from me.

I hopping tomorrow with the team at Ink Stamp Share and I have a lovely project to share using a new bundle called Hydrangea Haven then I'll be back soon with Part 4!

Happy New Year!

Susan xx
